In 2016 I’m doing a 365 Nature project. Learn more about the project and see all the 365 Nature posts.

With the greatest irony I ended up quite sick on Day 365 and unable to get off the couch let alone get outside. My daughter and I were both up all night sick and the morning brought no relief. I spent much of the day on the couch watching the passing clouds through the window. I consoled myself by turning on a slideshow of my photos from the year on the television to watch throughout the day. This was the only day the entire year I was unable to get outside and experience nature. I had to content myself with nature through the window and on a screen.

But tomorrow is the last day of the year, and as it’s a leap year there are actually 366 days, and so I have one more chance to experience nature before the end of the 365 Nature Project.
